Change IP on Your Ongoing Subscription

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to change your IP depending on your plan.
For Personal VPN, please note that there is no direct option to switch IPs for the same location. However, you can easily obtain a new IP by selecting a different country.
How to Change Your IP:
Open the IPBurger VPN app or VPN settings.
Select a different country from the list.
Connect to that country and you’ll receive a new IP based on the location.
NOTE: Keep in mind that each time you connect to a different country, the IP address will change. However, within the same country, the IP may remain the same.

There are times that you may require a new IP address in your existing VPN or Dedicated subscription. Instead of canceling the service and wasting your subscription days, you can change your IP at a small fee of $10.

﻿Log in to your account, and find the IP address/Service you want to use.
﻿
On the Service page, click on the Change IP ↱↵  button.
﻿
You will be redirected to the Add-ons page.
Confirm that the right service is selected.
Ideally, you will get the same country IP as your old IP. If you want to change the country of your service, select a country from the list as represented by Step 2 in the screenshot.
Verify all the details and click on the Order Now button.

  4. Finish the checkout process.
Once your order has been paid, we will send you an email with the details of your new IP. Check your mailbox for further instructions on how to use your new IP address.

Select the proxy user you want to use.
﻿
If 'Sticky IPs' is not selected, your IPs will automatically rotate for both residential and mobile proxies.

Sticky IPs - Regular Residential Proxy
To change the IP address after selecting sticky IPs, follow these steps:
Open the browser extension settings.
Click on the 'Re-Configure' button.
Set a new port number within the range of 9000-9299.
Click on the 'Save' button.

Note: These steps are only applicable for regular residential proxies.

Sticky IPs - Mobile Proxy and Premium Residential Proxies
Session ID works to provide you the same IP address for a specified time. At times, you may need to change the IP by yourself before the session time expires. This can be done by changing the session ID on your browser extension.
To Change the Session ID, please follow these steps:
Go to the browser where you configured the extension and click on the extension icon.

2. On the Menu dropdown list, click on ‘Settings’.
﻿

3. Once the extension setup opens up, click on the RE-CONFIGURE button.
 
﻿
4. Now, you will be able to edit your proxy username. The five-letter code after the “sessid” is the session ID. You can replace this code with any random combination of five letters like “abcde” or “deger” or “werew” or anything else (without the quotes).

5. Once done, it should look like the screenshot below. You can then click on the Save button.
